As part of corporate governance improvement of MEGABANK JSC, new appointments were made to the Supervisory Board.

 

Mr Desmond O’Maonaigh, an independent member of the Board of Directors of MEGABANK JSC, became a new Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Olena Zhukova, who previously held the position of the Chairman, was elected the First Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

 

The Supervisory Board also appointed a Chief Risk Manager (CRO Director) and a Chief Compliance Manager, which will make the risk management system more effective. Olga Chmykhalo was elected as chief risk officer, and Anna Drotenko was elected as chief compliance officer.

 

In addition, the composition of the Supervisory Board committees has changed. Olena Zhukova, First Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board, was elected to the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.

 

In connection with the election of Mr Desmond O’Maonaigh as Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board, independent member of the Board, Ms Nurgul Torobayeva was appointed Chairman of the Risk Management Committee of the Bank's Supervisory Board.
